Five - William Eggleston

William Eggleston is a very influential American photographer. He is known for his color photos and is even credited for helping colored photos become legitimate forms of art in art galleries. I love this image because of the color and the lines. I really enjoy how the power lines all join at the single light in the upper left third.

Four - Roni Horn

Title: You Are The Weather

This image is an image from her series titled "You Are The Weather". I think this series is very interesting because the multiple images of this woman in water, at first, seems boring and pointless. This however is far from what they are. When you look at the multiple images of the woman together a connection between the weather and woman becomes more apparent.

Ten - Henri Cartier-Bresson

Title: The Var department. Hyères.

Henri Cartier-Bresson is a very influential photographer. He coined the phrase "The Decisive Moment",  which he explains is the second in which a photo is captured. His images are a beautiful examples of "The Decisive Moment". This image The Var department. Hyères, is an image that is a true example of his phrase. The bike is caught with slight motion blur in the perfect place in the image. 

Nine - Walker Evans

Title: Fish Market Near Birmingham, Ala.

Walker Evans is one of the most influential photographers of all time. He is known for his documentary style photography. He worked for the FSA and documented the great depression. Walker Evans is one of my favorite photographers. I think his photos are amazing because of the ability to capture and document such a turbulent time in such an artistic way.

Eight - Terri Weifenbach

Title: Between Maple and Chestnut

Terri Weifenbach is an amazing photographer who is known for her use of an tilt shift lens. I really enjoy the technique she uses because of the tilt shift lens, she is able to  create a surreal feeling within me. The image becomes in a way abstract because of the blur, but in turn we are able to focus on the color and shapes within the image
